Timeshares in Madrid
Back to the Madrid Travel Guide

Madrid is a land of vacation opportunity. You could spend an entire week exploring the many museums and historic artifacts and another studying and photographing the beautiful old-world architecture. In fact, there are so many experiences to be had in Madrid that many vacationers have decided to return again and again so they don't miss a thing.

Of course, paying for night-by-night accommodation on a long-term basis can be expensive. That's why many frequent vacationers to Madrid have decided to buy timeshare in their favorite area of the city. There is a misconception that timeshares are only for the exceptionally wealthy. In fact, they are one of the most economical ways to secure long-term accommodations.

That's because these vacation properties allow owners to share the cost of their vacation home among multiple individuals, thereby reducing the cost to each. Resorts sell timeshare in one-week increments. Owners can choose to buy as many or as few weeks as possible, and they'll pay for only what they use. Other owners will do the same, and the cost of the property will be shared. And, once a timeshare property is owned outright (there are not payments left on the initial purchase price), the only thing owners will ever have to pay is an annual or biennial maintenance fee respective to their usage in order to secure large and well-appointed lodgings year after year.

If you have never been to Madrid, your first trip to Madrid is good time to get to know a couple of different neighborhoods and maybe even try a timeshare rental. Renting is a great way to determine what you want out of a vacation property. A timeshare is a long-term purchase; you'll want to ensure that you've explored all your options before you buy. In fact, you may even want to rent timeshare for your first few vacations to Madrid, so that you can find the perfect resort for you. Additionally, because you'll be renting from a previous owner or third-party reseller, you can often secure your rental timeshare for hundreds less than you might pay for temporary accommodation.

Once you are ready to buy timeshare, consider purchasing your vacation property second-hand. You will get exactly the same property as you would buying directly from the resort, but with resale you can often save thousands. And some resale timeshares even come with bonuses like banked weeks or exchange company memberships that the previous owners will no longer have use for. Buy a Spain timeshare for a lifetime of vacations in this urban paradise.
